International Patient Satisfaction Survey

The practice of Specialist Dr. Şule Koçyiğit provides health services in the field of neurology to international patients within the scope of the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate issued by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health.
The assessment process for international patients begins with a review of the current complaints, previously performed tests and the treatments used. The definitive diagnosis and treatment plan are determined on an individual basis after physician assessment and the investigations deemed necessary.

* Assessment of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders
* Deep brain stimulation (DBS/brain pacemaker) candidate assessment, programming and follow-up
* Tremor and dystonia assessment
* Diagnosis and treatment planning of migraine and other headaches
* Epilepsy assessment and EEG examination
* Assessment of peripheral nerve and muscle diseases and EMG examination
* Neurological assessment of memory and other cognitive complaints

Application process

1. First contact: The patient or their legal representative gets in touch with the practice.
2. Submission of medical documents: Previous reports, imaging, the medication list and, if any, surgery/DBS information are shared through a secure communication channel.
3. Preliminary review and appointment: After the documents are assessed, the appropriate appointment and the necessary preparations are notified.
4. Examination and tests: Diagnosis and treatment options are explained after a face-to-face assessment and the necessary tests.
5. Follow-up: After the examination, the medication, care and control plan is presented to the patient in an understandable manner.

* MRI/CT images and reports
* Up-to-date medication list
* Previous surgery and treatment records
* For DBS patients, the device card and the latest programming information

Language and communication support
English communication and information support is provided for international patients. When necessary, the need for an interpreter is assessed before the appointment.
