She was born in İzmir in 1984. After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2008, she completed her neurology specialization training at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital between 2009 and 2014. She carried out her compulsory service at İzmir Torbalı State Hospital; between 2018 and 2020 she served as Deputy Chief Physician and Neurology Specialist at the same hospital. In 2020, she began working again at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital.
During this period, she worked in the special-branch polyclinics for Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, focusing on the evaluation of Parkinson’s, tremor and other movement disorders, as well as advanced treatment options. Neurological follow-up, medication adjustment and the programming/adjustment processes of the device in patients who have undergone brain pacemaker (deep brain stimulation, DBS) implantation are among her professional fields of work.
In 2023, she left public service and began to continue her professional work independently in İzmir. Within general neurology, she is interested in the evaluation of neurological conditions such as headache and migraine, dizziness, epilepsy, dementia, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and peripheral nerve and muscle diseases. Depending on clinical necessity, neurophysiological examinations such as EEG and EMG may be used.
